En el transfer serigráfico, el logotipo se marca primero en un papel especial con base de silicona, en lugar de hacerlo directamente en el artículo. Los colores se imprimen uno a uno, sobre una base blanca. Después de cada impresión, se pasa por un túnel de secado. Una vez impresos todos los colores, se añade una capa de cola con la misma forma del logotipo y se aplica un polvo adhesivo. Mediante el uso de una prensa de calor se transfiere la impresión al artículo. El calor hará que la cola sea líquida y la presión que se ejerce hará que la impresión se adhiera bien al artículo. Por último, se retira el papel y el logotipo permanece en el artículo.
